You can tell how much Guilherme loves Lívia by how he wanted the perfect proposal for her . Guilherme and I had been planning this surprise proposal in Brooklyn for a few weeks, and though we had another location in mind, plans perfectly aligned to this little corner in Brooklyn Bridge park. As the sun dipped, casting a warm, romantic glow, Guilherme seized the moment to surprise Livia with a heartfelt proposal. As he finished reading a letter to her in Portuguese, he dropped to one knee, and the the sunset lit up. With the breathtaking Manhattan skyline as witness, Livia's joy and Guilherme's smile illuminated the park, making the perfect proposal. Not only that, but Guilherme had his family fly out from Brazil and Liv's parents come meet them after he proposed, making for a full circle surprise. As an NYC photographer, proposals here will always be my favorite!
